Supported recording sessions
Studio Shubz supported recording starts from ₦20,000 per hour. This is appropriate for vocals, overdubs and sessions requiring studio and engineering support. Before booking, use our pre-studio song preparation guide.
Live instrument tracking
Professional instrument tracking is ₦30,000 per hour with a two-hour minimum. It includes the recording environment, engineer, standard microphone or DI setup, routing and monitoring. Full drum tracking
Acoustic drums require more microphones, stands, inputs, routing and phase checking. Full Drum Tracking is ₦35,000 per hour with a two-hour minimum, so the minimum session starts at ₦70,000. Our professional drum tracking guide explains the process.
What tracking does not automatically include
Editing, comping, timing correction, tuning, mixing and mastering are separate production stages unless they are specifically included in a broader quote.
Mixing and mastering
Studio Shubz mixing starts from ₦50,000 per song, mastering from ₦25,000 per song, and Mix plus Master from ₦70,000 per song. Read Mixing vs Mastering before choosing. Music Production starts from ₦100,000 per song.
How to spend less studio time
Arrive with rehearsed material, the correct instrumental or stems, clear song structure and useful references. Instrumentalists should know the arrangement and bring instruments in recording-ready condition.

Does the hourly recording price include mixing?
No, unless your quotation explicitly says so. Tracking and mixing are separate stages.
