Applications are open to adults of every gender. Apply as The Seeker, a Potential Match, or Either. We welcome multiple applicants in every category and assign production rounds internally.

Nelly’s Love Booth is a Studio Shubz original dating and human-connection show where one featured single meets four potential matches.
Questions test compatibility. Some answers get a Sip. Some get a Spit. But a Spit does not automatically send anyone home.
The Seeker progressively narrows the possibilities. The final Match must choose back. Then, both people independently decide: Stay or Walk.

This is not a matchmaking service or a dating-app mechanic. The format creates space for attraction, accountability and consent.

Both people make their final decision independently.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?

We are looking for confident, expressive singles who are genuinely open to connection.
You do not need to be an influencer. You do not need professional TV experience.
Applications are free. Filming dates, location, compensation and applicable travel arrangements will be shared when confirmed.
You do need to be:
- Single and legally an adult
- Honest and emotionally self-aware
- Expressive and comfortable on camera
- Open to a genuine relationship
- Capable of handling rejection respectfully

Seekers and Potential Matches of every gender may apply. There is no public quota per category; production will assemble suitable combinations from the applicant pool.

Casting privacy notice
Studio Shubz collects the identity, contact, location, dating-intent, story and availability information you submit, plus an optional camera video or link, to assess casting suitability, contact shortlisted applicants and plan production. Access is restricted to authorised casting personnel. Applications are reviewed for deletion up to 24 months after the casting round, subject to lawful production or recordkeeping needs. Applying does not guarantee selection. To request access, correction or deletion, use the Studio Shubz contact page and mention Nelly’s Love Booth. Share only information you are comfortable disclosing at this initial stage.

Selected applicants take part in a short on-camera compatibility and presence test.

Do I need to be an influencer?
No. Audience size is not an eligibility requirement.
Do I need acting experience?
No. We are looking for honest, expressive people—not performances.
Do I have to be based in Uyo?
Not necessarily. Travel and production logistics may apply.
Is there an application fee?
No. Standard casting applications are free.
Is participation paid?
Compensation and any travel arrangements will be explained to shortlisted applicants once confirmed.
When and where is filming?
The filming schedule and location will be shared with shortlisted applicants when confirmed. Travel logistics may apply.
Does applying guarantee I will appear?
No. Applying, interviewing or being shortlisted does not guarantee final casting.
Can I apply if I am in a relationship?
No, unless a specific future edition explicitly permits it.
Can I decline a question?
Participants will receive a full production briefing and clear boundary procedures before filming.
Do I have to use water for Sip or Spit?
No. A SPIT card alternative can be provided without requiring a medical explanation.
What happens after I submit?
Shortlisted applicants are contacted privately using the details in their application.
